FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying chemoradiotherapy. Belustin is administered 20-28 h before carrying out the first fraction of radiotherapy treatment as chemotherapeutic preparation. Its taking is to be continued during the first 4-6 days of irradiation at a dose of 40 mg daily until total dose reaches 200-280 mg. Radiation therapy is to be carried out in dose multifractioning mode during 16 days. 10-14 days later, repeated chemoradiotherapy treatment is carried out during 14 days. Total radiation dose for two treatment courses makes up 70-72.5 Gr. Belustin is administered at a dose of 200 mg for 1-3 days during the following 3-6 months with 25-30 days long pauses. To increase treatment effectiveness, alpha-2- interferon is additionally administered.
