FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: device has housing divided by partition and diaphragm into three spaces. First space is limited by partition and diaphragm. Spring-loaded valve coupled with diaphragm is installed by means of rod in second space between inlet and outlet holes. Third space communicates with water medium of filled tank to form air cushion inside the tank. Shell is rigidly secured on partition in second space and it encloses valve rod providing tight fitting of valve to shell when device is opened. Device is mounted in tank provided with overflow pipe. First space can be placed in communication with water medium of tank through hole. EFFECT: enhanced reliability, simplified design. 2 cl, 1 dwg
