METHOD OF TRANSPORTATION OF CARGO IN WATER MEDIUM Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: transportation of ecologically dangerous liquids and loose cargoes by means of ground and water transport facilities. SUBSTANCE: cargo is arranged in one or more tankers which are connected with floats by means of ropes of controllable winches. Floats are interconnected together and are also connected with tug. Each tankers is open at top. Cargo is placed in hermetic containers. Interior of tanker is filled with water to obtain negative buoyancy at common positive buoyancy of tanker with floats. For discharge of cargo, tanker is raised by means of ropes of controllable winches and water is removed from its interior until surfacing. Containers are made in form of cylinders whose dimensions make it possible to carry them in group transport facilities. EFFECT: decrease of fire hazard in transportation of ecological dangerous liquids and loose cargoes. 2 cl
