FIELD: materials handling facilities; transportation of material in form of particles. SUBSTANCE: device has transportation channel with inlet and outlet holes and at least one moving surface arranged in between. Moving surface has driving surface pointed in direction of material flow. Device has also means to displace moving surfaces between inlet and outlet holes in direction of outlet hole. Material in form of particles is subjected to compacting sufficient for forming bridge of particles overlapping transportation channel in width. Forming of bridge causes change of particles into semihydrostatic state, and force, applied from side of driving surface pointed in direction of material flow to compacted particles located in zone contributing to execution of transportation, leads to transportation of entire mass of material along transportation channel to outlet hole. EFFECT: provision of transportation and measuring of material both under normal condition and with overcoming of pressure. 23 cl, 6 dwg
