SUBSTANCE: PCG-2,6- -fragment of DNA (size is 6.3 thousand nucleotide pairs) carries the complete structural part of gene that encodes beta-galactosidase and functionally complete regulatory site of this gene. On the basis of this fragment the strain Penicillium canescens VKPM F-725 as a producer of beta-galactosidase is constructed.
