FIELD: protection against corrosion of buried pipelines and storage reservoirs. SUBSTANCE: protection system has elongated electrode, usually anode suitable for use in the system of protection against corrosion with the help of applied current. Electrode has central elongated core, usually metal such as copper, optionally, conducting polymer compound enclosing metal core and having resistivity higher than that of core but being in contact with core; flexible shell, for instance, cloth braiding containing coke in the form of particles; and tensioned wrappers located round flexible shell. Tensioned wrappers are used for packing of coke particles in case of absence of the braiding. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 15 cl, 5 dwg
