FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: device has illumination source, starting equipment and light distribution unit. Illumination source is designed as metal-halogen lamp which outputs light with following power distribution in photosynthesis active radiation bandwidths with 5% tolerance: 30% for 400-500 nm, 45% for 500-600 nm, 25% for 600-700 nm. Metal-halogen lamp is filled with following components: doping for torch supply with sodium, scandium, and thorium halides, respectively of 0.1-6.0, 0.05-0.6 and 0.02-0.5 mg per cubic centimeter.
