FIELD: gas treating facilities. SUBSTANCE: this is intended for cooling, moistening and/or purification of gas by spraying solution and removing harmful components without creation of effluent water. This dry spraying column has following components: upper part which is provided with gas inlet hole, widened part which is widening downwards in direction from upper part of column and gradually increasing in dimensions, and spraying nozzles which are secured to widened part of column or to section which directly follows after widened part in direction of flow for spraying water and/or absorbing solution, thus cooling or moistening gas and/or removing harmful component from gas. Gas distributing device is located in widened part of column or near it in site which is ahead of spraying nozzles in direction of gas flow so as to ensure larger downward component of gas flow speed in peripheral part of column containing spraying device as compared with central part of column. This circumstance prevents collision of droplets of sprayed liquid with internal wall surface of column. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 7 cl, 1 tbl, 9 dwg
