FIELD: chemical-and-pharmaceutical, food-processing and allied industries for rectification, absorption and wet cleaning of gases from soluble dusts. SUBSTANCE: rotary spraying apparatus has housing which is sectionalized in height by means of plates holding the sprayers rigidly connected with shaft running along axis of apparatus; they are made in form of perforated cylinders fitted with intake units and boundary entrainment traps made in form of vertical metal plates. Guide blades are mounted in gas ducts of drain plates at angle of 3 to 9 deg. relative to horizontal plane; holes in perforated cylinders are located over generatrices inclined at angle of 3 to 9 deg. relative to horizontal plane. EFFECT: increased intensity of processes; reduced entrainment of splashes; reduced hydraulic resistance; improved operational characteristics. 3 dwg
