FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plant intended for absorption of harmful substances from gases. Device and method comprises first stage whereat gas is forced through suspension layer as a disperse phase and second stage whereat gas is forced as a continuous phase whereto suspension is sprinkled as a disperse phase. Bothe stages are combined in single scrubber. Note here that it additionally comprises dispersing and gas distributing device (3) to decrease has gas section by 15-50% of the scrubber entire cross-section with the help of grate structure of the tray (3a) shown in fig. 2.
EFFECT: optimised mass transfer and power.
