FIELD: sorbents. SUBSTANCE: porous sorbent, applicable in medicine, cosmetology, and veterinary, is based on aluminum oxide with meso- and macroporous structure and is modified with 4-15 wt % carbon and 1-15 wt % polymethylsiloxane. Modifiers are shaped as linear fragments 20-30 in size and are distributed in aluminum oxide matrix pores, while surface of sorbent is made in the form of mosaic of hydrophilic and hydrophobic portions. Porous sorbent is made in the form of granules 0.2 to 3 mm in size or as powder with particle size 0.1 to 0.2 mm. Sorbent is easily washed out with small amounts of water.
