FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical engineering, in particular to the technology for preparing a composition based on alumina, lithium citrate and polymethylsiloxane for various purposes, including for medicine, as well as use thereof as carriers, metering devices for enzymes, hormones, cells, biologically active substances, drugs, food and mineral supplements. Method for preparing the composition comprises applying by immobilisation at room temperature lithium citrate in an aqueous solution and an aqueous emulsion of polymethylsiloxane on the surface of alumina with a meso-, macroporous structure while stirring, followed by drying at a temperature not higher than 50 °C for at least 4 hours and heat treatment at a temperature not higher than 200 °C for at least 1 hour.
EFFECT: new technology for the preparation of a composition based on porous alumina, lithium citrate and polymethylsiloxane, which simplifies and reduces the cost of the process, improves environmental safety while preserving the quality of the composition.
