FLEXIBLE MATERIAL FOR WALL OF VESSEL UNDER PRESSURE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

Abstract RU 2126468 C1

FIELD: material suitable for use as a wall of container being under pressure in the form of gas chamber of airship. SUBSTANCE: material includes the first flexible layer containing fabric made of fibrous yarn forming weave at an angle of 90 deg to each other; the second flexible fabric contains yarn of fibrous material at an angle of plus and minus 45 deg. Value of breakage strain of fibrous material of the second layer is larger than that for fibrous material of the first layer at angles of 0 and 90 deg. The first and second layers are bound with resin. Material has film from gas impermeable material and material resistant to ultraviolet radiation which is attached to the first two layers. EFFECT: higher tensile strain, stability to ultraviolet radiation and capability of keeping the helium gas. 5 cl, 7 dwg
