FIELD: transport engineering; gear-box synchronizers. SUBSTANCE: synchronizer has hub with retainers for transmission of torque from shaft to clutch fitted on hub; interlocking ring thrown into engagement with hub and provided with toothed rim; inner ring whose inner taper surface is engageable with surface of cone made integral with gear and linked with hub by means of three projections made on side of its lesser diameter and received by three cuts in seats of hub for springs of retainers; outer engageable with gear by means of projections available on flange bent outside in radial direction on side of its larger diameter. Inner taper surface of outer ring may be in friction contact with outer surface of inner ring and outer taper surface is in friction contact with inner surface of interlocking ring. According to another version, interlocking ring of synchronizer consists of two members: outer and inner. Outer member is provided with cams made in radial direction inside on side directed to hub. Outer member is engageable with inner ring by means of tips of cams. Outer member of interlocking ring is made from cermet and inner member is made from non-ferrous alloy.
