FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: method includes simultaneous loading of standard and operating pressure transducers, simultaneous measurement of this load and determination of functional dependence between indications of standard and operating pressure transducers which are loaded with concentrated force. Operating pressure transducer is calibrated on membrane-type transducer. For this purpose, coordinate grid with arbitrarily selected directions of coordinate axes X and Y of rectangular coordinate system is preliminarily secured on surface of transducer membrane, and origin of coordinates is coincided with supposed center of membrane. The latter is loaded with concentrated force, normal to its surface at least five points of membrane with coordinates X1,0; 0,0; -X1,0; 0,Y1; 0, -Y1, where X1 and Y1 are selected within range from 0.4 to 0.6 of membrane characteristic size. Plotted curves of operating transducer sensitivity and concentrated force along axes X and Y are used for determination of actual center of membrane as intersection point of straight lines parallel to axes X and Y and passing through points of maximum sensitivity of plotted curves. Then pressure transducer is calibrated by normal force concentrated in actual center of membrane, and sensitivity to pressure is calculated by formula. EFFECT: improved safety in operation. 3 cl, 1 tbl, 7 dwg
