FIELD: wound-healing means. SUBSTANCE: sponge contains, %: collagen, 94.5-98.25; thymalin, 1.25-3.0; cytochrome c, 0.5-2.5; and can be made in the form of single- and two-layer spongy plates. Two-layer plate contains collagen layer with thymalin and collagen layer with cytochrome c. When preparing single-layer spongy plate, homogeneous collagen solution with thymalin and cytochrome c is frozen and subjected to sublimation drying. Dry plate is treated with formaldehyde vapors at 20-25 C for not more than 20 h and sterilized. When preparing two-layer spongy plate, collagen solution with thymalin is added to frozen collagen solution with cytochrome c, mixture is frozen, and subjected to sublimation drying.
