FIELD: transport engineering; automobiles with improved acoustic characteristics. SUBSTANCE: drive has driving shaft 1 and driven shaft 2 with driving sprockets 3 and 4 rigidly mounted on shaft. Sprockets are mechanically connected by endless chain 5 and are enclosed in soundproof hood secured on engine housing. Design peculiarity of drive is that hood is made if permeable to gas, noise-and-vibration damping porous (gauze, fiber) metal material of different design versions.
