FIELD: automotive industry; base members of internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: engine has cylinder head 1 with bearing housing 4 fitted on through vibration isolating fastening members. Support journals 6 of timing gear camshaft 7 are arranged in bearing beds. Vibration-and-noise damping member 10 is arranged between support mated planes of head 1 and housing. Vibration-and-noise damping member 10 of porous gas-permeable gauze material is made in form of flat gasket whose outlines coincide with outlines of support end face of bearing housing 4. Vibration-and-noise damping members made of porous gas-permeable gauze material can be additionally placed between mated surfaces of support journals 6 with beds and/or support heads of fastening members and housing. Vibration-and-noise damping members made of porous gas permeable gauze material can be placed in joint of members 14 and 15 of sectional housing. Outlines of this member follow outlines of housing division plane. Vibration-and-noise damping members can be perforated by fine through holes.
