FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in vehicle, mainly, automobile furnished with noise-suppressing housing mounted in zone of drive of valve-actuating mechanism of internal combustion engine of vehicle. It contains internal combustion engine installed in engine compartment, drive members of valve-actuating mechanism of which are enclosed at least by one noise-isolating housing whose carrying skeleton is secured on housing of internal combustion engine. Carrying skeleton is made in form of rigid perforated metal or polymeric part forming closed space limited by carrying skeleton and end face zone of front of internal combustion engine communicating with hood space of vehicle through holes (necks). At least from one side of perforated panel porous noise-absorbing panel is mounted. Mounting surface of panel follows mating surface of housing on which panel is secured. Different design versions of object are described in invention.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of suppression of noise energy.
