FIELD: fire fighting, in particular, suppressing of fire in local fire zones. SUBSTANCE: portable fire-extinguisher has reservoir with fire-extinguishing substance, starting head casing mounted on reservoir, spring-loaded stem provided with conical projection and disposed in longitudinal channel extending through starting head casing having first radial opening, compressed gas container mounted on starting head casing and provided with sealing membrane faced to stem conical projection, syphon pipe, outlet union and stem moving device. Longitudinal channel has two cavities separated by sealing member mounted on stem. First cavity is communicated to compressed gas container outlet opening and to reservoir via first radial opening. Second cavity is communicated via second radial opening to syphon pipe and via third radial opening to outlet union. Stem portion disposed in second cavity is provided with bead having resilient layer attached to bead side faced to second radial opening. Efficiency of fire extinguisher is improved provided the following condition is observed: a > b, where a is distance from resilient layer to second cavity bottom; b is size of stem portion covering the opening punctured in sealing membrane. Construction of fire-extinguisher allows operation to be stopped for short time, when required. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 1 dwg
