FIELD: reservoirs furnished with floating roofs. SUBSTANCE: floating cover has floats, fastening beams, clamps and flooring. Floats are made rectangular and are interconnected by short sides by means of beams. Beams are secured on floats by clamps. Brackets for fastening the beams are provided in upper part of clamps. peripheral floats are arranged horizontally along longer side. End faces of channel section floats pointed to inner walls of reservoir form peripheral edge of floating cover. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of operation of floating cover owing to reduction of gas space volume under floating cover and increased load bearing capacity of floating cover peripheral part. 2 cl, 6 dwg
