FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to oil industry and can be implemented in reservoirs for oil and oil products storage. Pontoon has peripheral and central floats. Bearing beams are assembled perpendicular to lines of central floats; central support poles arranged along parallel lines at angle α to axes of the bearing beams are secured the bearing beams. Value of angle α is determined from ratio α = arctg 2ll/l, where ll is distance between lengthwise bearing beams and l is distance between transversal beams. Each central float is secured at least to three bearing beams, while its ends are arranged on both sides of the central support poles. Transfer of part of load from bearing beams to floats ensures reduction of beams weight and more uniform distribution of load on components of the pontoon, which allows decreased number of support poles.
EFFECT: more uniform distribution of load on bearing beams and floats.
