RESERVOIR WITH PONTOON FOR STORING HIGHLY VOLATILE OIL PRODUCTS (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: oil industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for storing oil products. Proposed reservoir contains housing, bottom, stationary roof, pontoon including central and peripheral floats made of tubes with stopped end faces uniformly spaced over pontoon area and hinge connected to each other, flooring hermetically overlapping surface of oil product without contact with said product and assembled of parallel straps whose edges are clamped between supporting and pressure beams, sealing shutoff device, support posts and peripheral rigidity ring. Stoppers of tubular floats are made cup-like, being installed with bottom part pointed inwards, and edges of walls of stoppers are aligned with end faces of float walls. Lower supporting is made in form of channel whose upper web is provided with convex surface, while lower web is fixed to top of floats. Upper pressure beam is U-shaped, its webs being pointed downwards to lower supporting beam. Sheets of flooring are placed by their longitudinal edges with overlapping onto surface of lower supporting beams and are clamped by webs of upper pressure beams. Peripheral rigidity ring is made in form of channel. Reservoir (as version) contains stationary support device including supporting beams uniformly spaced at preset height from bottom of reservoir on posts, and brackets secured on wall of reservoir on which pontoon rests in its lowermost position. EFFECT: improved operation reliability, reduced cost of building owing to improvement of design of separate members of reservoir and pontoon. 2 cl, 14 dwg
