SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method of synthesis of 1-substituted-6- -fluoro-4-oxo-7-(1-piperazinyl)-1,4-dihydroquinoline-3- -carboxylic acid of the general formula (II) where R₁ means a lower alkyl, lower cycloalkyl according that 1-substituted-6-fluoro-4-oxo-7-(4-substituted-1-piperazinyl)- -1,4-dihydroquinoline-3-carboxylate-boron-diacetate has a general formula (I) where R₂ means a lower alkyl and the latter compound is subjected for alkaline hydrolysis. Compound of the formula (I) is a new compound in essence.
