FIELD: methods and devices for smelting and treatment of metal. SUBSTANCE: one portion of metal material is charged into chamber and circulated from one to other chambers with simultaneous smelting under the effect of heat radiation from chamber covers. One or more pumps build up pressure above molten metal in one or more pump chambers communicated with melting chamber and with splashing chambers from which melt is discharged or directed for recirculation. The technical result is achieved with the help of transfer at elevated pressure in pump chambers of melts per unit of time to splashing chamber from each pump chamber exceeding by a factor of 3-15 of those transferred from the same chamber to splashing chamber. It was realized in device in which relation between areas of surface of pipelines located between each pump chamber and connected with its splashing chamber and between each pump chamber and melting chamber connected with it amounts from 3: 1 to 15:1, preferably, from 5:1 to 10:1.
