FIELD: panoramic photography. SUBSTANCE: given camera for panoramic photography uses unperforated wide- format film. It includes case to which immobile gear of planetary mechanism for rotation of mobile plate is made fast. Plate carries lens, field slit diaphragm, driving drum to pull film fitted with mobile roller, feed and take-up reels. Driving drum is equipped with second pressing roller and is so positioned that its rotation axis crosses optical axis of lens and is perpendicular to it and relation of width of field slit diaphragm to radius of driving drum amounts to 0.01-0.035. Radius of driving drum is found from formula R=f(r₂/r₁), where R is radius of driving drum in mm; f is focal distance of lens in mm; r₁ is radius of pitch circle of immobile gear of planetary mechanism made fast to case in mm; r₂ is radius of pitch circle of gear of driving drum in mm.
