FIELD: biochemical methods. SUBSTANCE: soluble covalent conjugates of low-molecular compounds with natural proteins from animal tissue cell chromatin are prepared by precipitating inorganic acid-insoluble proteins from primary solution of cationic protein, followed by redissolving precipitate in medium ionic-strength solution and adding cross-linking agent and low-molecular polar compound to form desired conjugates including proteins inert to proliferative lymphocyte activity. Method is suitable for preparing conjugates which can be used as transporters for substances blocked by hemato-encephalic barrier. EFFECT: improved preparation procedure. 2 tbl
