FIELD: shipbuilding; designing of high-speed ships provided with controllable interceptors for running in transient mode or in gliding mode. SUBSTANCE: ship has bottom with transom and transom plate with controllable interceptors mounted behind it. Ship is provided with propeller. Transom plate is made from detachable sections according to the number of interceptors. Each section is secured on supports-guides by means of retainers flush with surface of ship's bottom. Supports-guide are mounted on lower portion of transom. Width of each section of transom plate is equal to span of respective interceptor. Each section has slots open from the side of trailing edge of transom plate; number of slots corresponds to number of plates of interceptor suspension. Slots are perpendicular to trailing edge of plate. Each interceptor is articulated on transom plate by means of plates of suspension mounted in slots of transom plate sections. Interceptor may perform angular downward motion retaining minimum clearance between trailing edge of transom plate section and this interceptor. Supports-guide together with fastenings and transom plate together with interceptors may be provided with electrical insulation relation to transom to avoid electrochemical corrosion. Partially submersible screw mounted on the outside of ship's transom may be used as propulsor. Propulsor is provided with drive for changing its position in horizontal and vertical planes. Use may be also made of water-jet propeller mounted on ship's transom and equipped with reversible steering gear. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency; reduced usage of materials. 4 cl, 8 dwg
