FIELD: shipbuilding; designing high-speed vessels. SUBSTANCE: vessel is provided with bilge-like lines and keel bottom. Vessel is also provided with fore and/or aft planing steps after which controllable interceptors are mounted. Provision is made for extension of interceptors from under break of bottom. At least one anti- vortex partition is mounted in after-planing step space of bottom at spaced relation to interceptors on side of stern. Height of this partition does not exceed height of planing step. Partition may be made in form of plate secured on bottom by means of knees. Anti-vortex partition may be electrically insulated from bottom and/or from interceptors. Partition or several anti-vortex partitions may be mounted in after-planing step space from bilge of one side to bilge of opposite side. Working surface of interceptors may be cylindrical or convex in shape. Interceptors may be made for turning relative to supports by means of rods; supports are secured on bottom of hull. EFFECT: reduction of harmful effect of vortices formed when flow comes off edge of bottom planing step on interceptors located after planing step. 6 cl, 6 dwg
