FIELD: mechanical engineering; power engineering; chemical industry; heat engines; liquid injection and atomizing devices; liquid propellant rocket engines where high accuracy of maintenance of preset propellant rate is required. SUBSTANCE: design of nozzle makes it possible to atomize various fuel component at constant atomizing characteristics. This is provided by imparting longitudinal bending movement to nozzle rod connected with ultrasonic vibration generator. Central part of plunger has screw grooves along central axis and serves as active radiating cover plate of ultrasonic converter. Fine atomizing of component mixture takes place at its end face. Fixed part of body is rigidly secured on outer cup which accommodates passive cover plate arranged in ball guides and spring loaded. Passive cover plate is secured in inner cup in unit plane at a distance of λ/4 from end face where λ is length of ultrasonic wave. EFFECT: provision of atomizing of fuel component owing to longitudinally bending vibrations in central nozzle up to 60 μm and in outlet nozzle up to 40 μm. 5 cl, 7 dwg
