FIELD: mechanical engineering; power engineering; chemical industry; liquid injection and atomizing devices; liquid propellant rocket engines where accuracy of maintenance of preset propellant rate is required. SUBSTANCE: design of nozzle makes it possible to atomize various viscosity fuel components at constant atomizing characteristics. This is provided by imparting longitudinally reciprocating motions to nozzle rod end face by connecting it with ultrasonic vibration generator. Liquid is fed into nozzle channels through zones of vibration concentration of active cover plate at a distance from end face of body equal to λ/4 and . In some cases liquid is fed along central axis of ultrasonic converter through passive cover plate at a distance from end face of body equal to where n is number of half waves and λ is length of ultrasonic wave. EFFECT: provision of atomizing of fuel components owing to longitudinal vibrations in central nozzle up to 80 μm and in output nozzle, up to 40 μm. 4 cl, 4 dwg
