FIELD: conversion of thermal energy into rotary motion of drive shaft or into directional flow of gaseous medium for flight of body. SUBSTANCE: device has body with direct-flow passage of rectangular section. Two kinematically linked shafts are located in succession in this passage in way of motion of flow. Each has two rotating blades which are kinematically linked with shaft at ratio of 1:2. Blades have axles which are rigidly connected with them. End face of shafts is cranked in shape. Axles are mounted rotatably over periphery of each crank. Blades of second shaft (in way of motion of flow) have larger areas and process of conversion of thermal energy of source fitted in passage between pairs of blades is effected due to difference in these areas.
