FIELD: reclamation of production waste and protection of environment. SUBSTANCE: device uses a rotary kiln with gas heating and associated gas flow, in which a melt basin of worked-out lining is formed over the entire length of the rotary kiln from the inlet to the outlet, ash hardener for reception of residual melt from the unloading end of the rotary kiln, auxiliary furnace, transition chamber with descending draft for extraction of waste gases from the rotary kiln to the auxiliary furnace. Pneumatic injection sprayers feed and disperse the worked-out lining at the inlet end of the rotary kiln. The unloading baffle provides for a preset mean depth of the material melt bath in the rotary kiln over its entire length. The relationship of mixed materials reduced in size, injected by the pneumatic injection sprayer-feeder, is adjusted in response to signals received from the systems of radiation optical system of bath temperature measurement in the kiln. Fluorides are extracted from waste gases outgoing from the auxiliary furnace, and recirculated to the melt bath or basing of the rotary kiln, and the glass frit is removed from the ash hardener. EFFECT: treatment of worked-out lining to a degree sufficient for reuse or burial in the form of intoxic waste. 27 cl, 9 dwg
