FIELD: methods of extrusion coating of metal strips. SUBSTANCE: method includes use of metal strip about from 0.1778 to 0.356 mm thick; heating of strip up to temperature of at least about 204 C, but not too high to avoid impairing of required properties of metal strip; extrusion of polymer resin to one side and the same or some other polymer resin to other side of hot metal strip to form coating which is at least partially bound with metal strip, each coating has thickness from 7.6 to 38 mcm; heating of coated metal strip to temperature equal at least temperature of resin vitrification but not high to avoid harmful effect on desired properties of metal strip, and to ensure binding of resin to metal strip; cooling of coated metal strip down to 40 C to allow resin to solidify in mainly noncrystalline form. The device for coating of metal strip and articles made of metal strip are also described. EFFECT: simplified and low cost price process. 11 cl, 14 dwg
