FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves keeping poultry for the whole productive period; providing forced shedding by exposing poultry to stresses and keeping during new productive period. Shedding is provided by reducing feed norm to decrease live weight by 25-30% as compared to standard value, with live weight being controlled every day; giving standard combined feed, beginning from 1/4 of norm and gradually, for 10-15 days, increasing feed norm to standard value. During period, when poultry has reduced feed norm, staying under day light is reduced to 0-4 hours. During the whole reduced feed period, poultry is given daily 10-12 g per beast of mussel or limestone. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified method. 7 cl, 2 tbl
