Abstract RU 2128069 C1

FIELD: equipment for protecting individual's respiratory organs. SUBSTANCE: respirator has at least three layers of rectangular blanks. Middle layer is manufactured from ion-exchange and/or carbonaceous materials, outer layer - from aerosol filtering material and inner layer - from fabric filtering material. Blanks are connected along longitudinal joints. Sealing strip is formed at three sides of rectangular blanks, and halves of fourth side are connected along edge by seam. Pressure member of respirator has two parts made from soft form-retaining material and is disposed on sealing strip at both sides of seam. Retaining devices may be formed as circular flexible members and may be rigidly connected with respirator or may be moved within loops defined by bent corners of respirator. Method involves juxtaposing at least three layers of blanks; connecting blanks by longitudinal seam with following joining along edges to form sealing strip by bending at least one outer layer of blank and connecting it with remaining layers of respirator. Mentioned operation is performed successively at three sides of blank, beginning from the smallest side or the side equal to remaining sides. Prior to bending first and third sides of blank, pressure member is positioned on these sides at zone adjacent to edge of fourth side. When sealing strip is formed at three sides of blank, its ends are simultaneously connected by joining halves of blank fourth side. Method further involves fastening retaining members to respirator corners. EFFECT: simplified respirator assembling method and construction, convenient operation and storage. 10 cl, 5 dwg
