FIELD: investigation of mixing and segregation processes. SUBSTANCE: the drum rectangular plate in the device is perforated. Spring-loaded plates, having a width equal to the width of the perforated plate, are installed at the plate edges. Obturators in the form of strips of elastic material are installed on the edges of the spring- loaded plates facing the drum wall. The obturators may be made of a flexible wall. The size of perforation in the plate may be less than or exceed the diameter of the mix grains. Extraction of loose material containing liquid at its processing from any part of the drum cross-section, as well as reduction of hydraulic resistance of the mix at radial displacement, are provided.
