Abstract RU 2128208 C1

FIELD: production of fluid medium containing synthetic gas through partial oxidation of carbonaceous fuel mixture. SUBSTANCE: gas generator includes combustion chamber with bottom, bath for cooling fluid and neck located at bottom of combustion chamber. Cooling fluid bath is located under the bottom of combustion chamber. Combustion chamber is brought in communication with bath through hole available in neck for motion of products of partial oxidation from combustion chamber to bath. Neck has pipe line for receiving the cooling fluid and pipes for receiving the cooling fluid from this pipe line. Pipe line is laid between bottom and bath. Pipes are connected at one end to wall of pipe line and have open end directed towards bath. carbonaceous fuel mixture is fed to combustion chamber where it is subjected to partial oxidation and not products of partial combustion are directed from combustion chamber to cooling fluid. According to one version of method, motion of products of partial combustion is effected in way of extinction ring located under neck. Neck is subjected to cooling by means of inner cooling system communicated with cooling fluid source. Cooling fluid is circulated through cooling system. EFFECT: avoidance of thermal overload in area of gas generator neck; increased service life of gas generator; reduced operational expenses. 24 cl, 4 dwg
