FIELD: petroleum processing and petrochemistry. SUBSTANCE: crude hydrocarbon distillate is treated by hydrogen-containing gas in fluidized bed of catalyst particles to yield liquid hydrocarbon product and non-reacted hydrogen-containing gas. Crude material and gas are preheated to specified temperatures under specified pressure and heat exchange between different flows is performed separately under high and low pressures to ensure efficient heat exchange under high pressure and to reduce consumption of fuel gas in heaters.
