FIELD: nuclear industry; recovery of spent nuclear fuel. SUBSTANCE: dissolver is, essentially, double-level annular vibrating apparatus within which crushed fuel shells are passed on one dissolution cycle at first level of moving rotor and then, depending on amount of valuable elements extracted, they may be passed by means of guide member on same cycle for the second time or transferred to second (rinsing) level with the result that both periodic and continuous dissolution can be effected.
