FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves creating three-dimensional ultrasonic picture of the eye by applying computerized summing-up of a series of sequential acoustic cross-sections in the interval of 0.3 deg. Acoustic cross- sections are selected from spatial data array where vitreoretinal changes are present and spatial relations between the separated retina, film bands and layer eye structures are measured in millimeters and hour meridians in three mutually perpendicular planes.
