FIELD: ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to ultrasonic diagnostics: first, two-dimensional echography is performed with brightness gradation and resulting acoustic cross-section is subjected to color encoding followed by contrast study of sclera and tumor. Further, their color spectra are compared and, if tumor spectrum is revealed in sclera, tumor proliferation is diagnosed with quantitative estimation of area affected. EFFECT: enabled determining presence or absence of infiltration of sclera by tumor cells, which enhances treatment efficiency.
