FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying transscleral ultrasonic sounding of an eye and concurrently marking sclera by applying diathermic coagulation method. To do it, device is used having ultrasonic diagnosing probe with longitudinally coaxially movably mounted cylindrical headpiece marker manufactured from dielectric material and additionally provided with diathermic coagulating electrode being metal ring with sharp horn protrusions to enable contact interaction with eye sclera. EFFECT: combined marking and hemostatic action on sclera and vascular coat of the eye; enhanced effectiveness of treatment. 1 dwg
