FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves creating three-dimensional ultrasonic picture of the eye by applying computerized summing-up of a series of sequential acoustic cross-sections. The selected two-dimensional scanograms having the most specific focal pathology signs are subjected to color coding. The scanograms are input into three-dimensional array of data and spatial relations are detected multiple foreign bodies and eye layer structures. Intraocular tumor volume and topographic properties are also determined. EFFECT: wide range of applications in preparing patient to surgical operation. 2 dwg
