FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: reinforcement of two parallel U-section crane girder is done by transforming open profile of each girder into common tubular rod connecting for this purpose lower belts of girders by reinforcement sheet and forming closed tubular profile. Walls of adjacent girders, brake plate and reinforcement sheet are connected by flexible ring by means of high strength studs. Ring provides combined operation of girders and prevents loss of stability of girder walls. EFFECT: reduced materials usage at enhanced strength and reliability of structure. 2 cl, 1 dwg
