FIELD: polymer production and rubber industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of producing high-molecular, branched, chemically modified polybutadiene containing 10 to 80% of 1,2-units and can be applied in synthetic rubber industry, whereas product can be applied in tyre, general mechanical rubber industry, and other areas. 1,3-Butadiene polymerization is carried out in a series of at least five reactors in hydrocarbon solvent (toluene, hexane, cyclohexane-hexane mixture, and hexane isomer mixtures, etc. ) in presence of butyl lithium and divinylbenzene. Charge stream is divided and lithium polybutadiene formed is partially added into the second and fifth reactor where it is modified with compounds containing tin, isocyanate, amino, sulfo, and benzophenone groups. To control proportion of 1,2-units, additional introduction of electronodonor compounds into the first and third reactors is envisaged. Resultant polybutadiene exhibits reduced cold flow and weariness, elevated elasticity on springback, and improved workability when varying molecular parameters (molecular weight distribution, microstructure).
