FIELD: manufacture of orthopedic footwear. SUBSTANCE: foam plastic is prepared by reacting polyisocyanate with monofunctional alcohol and water at 1-10: 1 ratio and also with saccharose oxypropylation product with molecular weight of 400-600 in the presence of catalyst and plasticizer in amount of 20-80 wt.pts per 122.3-125 wt.pts of polyisocyanate. The resulting foam plastic promotes retention of shape of imprint when load is relieved. EFFECT: more efficient preparation method. 9 ex
