RAIL FASTENING Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: railway track structure components. SUBSTANCE: rail fastening has rail chair with flanges secured on underrail base. Made in each rail chair flange is slot. Side faces of this slot are located at acute angle as to plane of rail chair for installing clamp. Clamp is made of steel rod and is formed as loop with bent out ends for seating in aforesaid slot. Also provided are threaded portions for screw. Application of aforesaid embodiment of rail fastening allows for fixing rail both in horizontal and vertical planes. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
