FIELD: railway construction. SUBSTANCE: this particularly relates to design of railway upper structure. Rail fastening unit has double-flange metal chair with holes. Seated in these holes are peripheral and main spikes. One of spikes is of springy type. Fastening unit has additional recess which accommodates anticreeping device made in the form of interrupted ring. Outer diameter of this ring interacts with peripheral springy-type spike. Aforesaid embodiment improves reliability of rail fastening unit. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
