FIELD: railway track repair and maintenance equipment. SUBSTANCE: this relates to rail fastenings on wooden base. Rail fastening has metal sole chair with flanges, resilient liner, liner for sole chair, and rigid clamps. Clamps are installed on each flange of sole chair and are secured in place by attaching units made in the form of bolts and resilient members. Resilient member is represented by spiral spring. Each spiral turn of spring is oval in configuration and is seated in spaces of bolt thread. Spiral turns are rigidly connected by plastic shell which is installed in lateral hole of base. Application of embodiment of rail fastening allows for substantial reduction of metal input in manufacture of article. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
